Why do we let Him lead and some areas of our lives and try to take control in other areas?

Are we not God's Children?
Shouldn't the Father know more than the son and thus lead the son?
It's a hard concept to grasp, especially in some areas of our lives like family planning and fertility.
God is our loving Father. He does have great plans for us. Jeremiah 29: 11-14 (NIV)
He knows and supplies our every need before we even know we need it or express the need.
